Using our "Survivors Log" I plotted all -Made in USSR- Minox cameras against their serial nunbers. Here the result:


As you can see, there are 4 distinct clusters of Made in USSR cameras. True Made in USSR cameras are only found in the cluster No.09250-10500. It also is evident that already engraved back plates were recycled during the german occupation until serial number 12500. What always will remain controversial are those early cameras.

Time wise, Latvia was under USSR control for some time (Autum 1939) before it officially became part of the USSR (Summer of 1940). The germans invaded Latvia in the Spring of 1941.
